An on-line competition associated with the 53rd International Art Exhibition of the Biennale, Fare Mondi/Making Worlds, called Pocket Film Prize: I Make My World, and aimed at young people from around the world aged between 18 and 26 years of age for video-works made using mobile phones. Contestants can participate with video-works not exceeding one minute (1') in duration, without any constraints as to genre, on a theme linked to the 53rd Exhibition, Fare Mondi/Making Worlds.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Payment of Euro 5 per contestant.
JURY:
Comprising 3 experts chaired by the Director of the 53rd Exhibition.
PRIZES:
The winning video-artist will receive a plaque, those ranked second and third will receive parchments from the Biennale di Venezia, during a special ceremony to be held in Venice on November 5 2009. The 3 best video prize-winning works will be visible at www.labiennalechannel.org. Other special mentions may be made. The result of the selection will be published on the www.labiennalechannel.org site.
